Our upland bird hunts are based on the number of birds harvested in a day’s time. Most clients wish to pheasant hunt with the daily limit of three pheasant roosters. Using this as a base line, hunters can opt for a five bird, eight bird, or eleven bird hunt. These upland hunts include the following additional species, Prairie chicken, sharp tail grouse, partridge, and bob white quail. If dove or waterfowl seasons are open and the proper licenses have been obtained, these birds can be hunted at no extra charge and are not counted against the daily hunt limit. For example, six waterfowl are taken on a morning hunt; three roosters can still be taken later that day on a three bird upland hunt.
