High Tines Outfitters is nestled deep in beautiful Buffalo County, Wisconsin. Founded in 1853, it is located within the drift less area of Western Wisconsin along the upper Mississippi River. Buffalo County was settled primarily by Swiss, German, and Norwegian immigrants who were drawn to the area by the growing lumber industry, fertile soils, access to the Mississippi, and available land.
The 42nd largest County in the State, its boundaries on the south, west and east are formed by the Mississippi River, and in part, by the Chippewa and Trempealeau Rivers.
