Land is about 30 minutes south of Columbus, OH, and we are an oasis of hunting. Much of the region is forested, but there is not much hunting land as two large metro parks, a county park and three nature preserves account for nearly 6,000 acres of woods where hunting is not allowed or severely limited.
We’re located at the end of a dead-end road. The land was select-cut logged in 2021, that produced open areas and woods with lots of trails. The tree tops left behind helps the whitetail herd as brier tops and the downed tops/trees are used for bedding.
The terrain is rolling hills, making it easy to get around. Deer tracks everywhere and you can spot lots of buck rubs and scrapes.
We schedule 2 hunts during deer hunting season – either bow hunts, gun hunts or muzzleloader. Other outfitters typically schedule hunts weekly, or every other week.
We give your hunting party – – limited to six hunters – – exclusive use of the land on your seven day hunt. On 160 acres, other outfitters book 8 to 10 hunters to hunt on the land – all at the same time. And those hunters more than likely are strangers – not part of your party. We want our hunters to feel like they are hunting in their own state park with no interference from outsiders.
Winter and summer, night time coyote hunts are available.
Accommodations are available off-site at our apartment suite or you can book a hotel room or cabin in the area.
